.The Road King is Harley's interpretation of a touringmachine. Fully equipped with hard pannier luggage, and a large detachableclear windshield upfront, this is a machine for long-distance cruising.Powered by the latest version of the firm's big twin motor, the Twin Cam 88,the 1449cc engine is fed by a 40mm (1.6in) CV carburettor, and exhausts itsdistinctive off-beat sound through crossover dual exhaust pipes. The chassisis typical Harley - solid, heavy and stable. Triple disc brakes providedecent stopping power, while the air-adjustable rear suspension allows therider to adjust the ride for a passenger or full luggage load. It hasdazzling chrome plate, fork shrouds and low-slung styling.
